Dr. Ronald Statton is Director of Computer Operations for the Clark Public Schools where he is responsible for the district’s IT infrastructure.
Prior to joining the Clark Public Schools, Dr. Statton was a manager at AT&T and Lucent Technologies where his responsibilities included financial reporting systems and Lucent’s web site www.lucent.com. He has written numerous technical documents in the areas of computer and network performance analysis, medical image management, computer-based training, electronic publishing, automated sales bids and proposals, supply chain management, data warehousing, and wireless networking. Other professional experience includes teaching mathematics and computer science at the college level, writing scientific algorithms for a parallel-processing supercomputer, and producing air traffic noise exposure forecasts for the US Department of Transportation.
Dr. Statton received his PhD in Mathematics from Northwestern University with a specialization in algebra and an MSE in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania with a specialization in computer graphics.
